Are you willing to pay more for brand name products? Just because it’s a well-known brand name doesn’t mean it’s any better than a third-party product made by a not-so-well-known company.

As we know, in the past people did not travel very much. They lived in small villages and had different first names. For this reason there was no misunderstanding. But travels, different cultures, new discoveries, and above all increases in population had power to influence this usance: second names were gradually created.

Apple Martin, Jett Travolta, my kids' names -- all Shakespearean. The desire to be different -- and to establish your child's sense of individuality -- has become an issue of "Name as Destiny" or so we think so. Are we just going through a stage?
