Words From the Heart

What it is that inspires me to write poems and what I like to share as I write. It also tells what I want my writing to give to those who read it.

Writing has to come from the heart. I don't know where I got this idea from but I feel it anytime I pick a pen as I write some piece of poetry down. I feel the words flowing from my heart, to my arms then to my fingers and finally on the paper.

Most times I write the emotions that I am feeling that day; I write happy things when I am feeling luck and on top of the world and I write love when I feel like the only person that has discovered what it is to really be in love. Let's not talk about those days that I feel sad or angry or just plain blue (I try hard not to show what I have written).

Writing poems for me is all about love and laughter and tears and fears and fairy tales that you dream about at night that you most put to paper and share with the rest of the world.
