A Recipe for Safety

How many of us can live without a job. I think that number will be a very low one. Unless we are rich, we have to work. A job is what you make of it.

It can be a good place or it can be a bad place
A place we go to make friends or a place we go to make enemies
It can be rewarding or it can be very distressing

When we go to work our employer have a set of rules to work by. Most of these are about sexual harassment laws that our lawmakers enforce to keep us safe on the workplace. Just as our Service Men keep our borders safe and our Police Officers keep our personal lives safe. Most of these rules our lawmakers enforce to protect and defend.

When we violate these laws on the work place, it is easy to define hazardous materials on the job but it is very hard to recognize sexual harassment at least in our courtrooms. Women are just not recognized in the courtroom when they are sexual harassed. In order for you to be recognized in the courtroom, you have to prevent the occurance of sexual harassment. As women we have to be the ones who prevents the offense or else our cases will not be viable cases and a smart lawyer will make us look like we are unimportant and out claim as well.

Women when going on a new job, submit a letter to go into your employee files that state the things that you do not tolerate on the job. These things are usually the same things that are lised in the sexual harassment laws your employers instill in you when you begin to work. The only thing about these rules is that they do not express that they are the things that you will not tolerate personally.

I call these my 10 Commandments of working on a job and they are necessary if you want to have a good experience at the work place.

If you do not want to become a violated female and you did come to the work place to work, then these laws not only protect you but they protect the employer also.

Women be recognized in a court of law with a claim that is valid. Protect yourself before it starts.

3. No Calling me out of my name (honey, baby,darling, or dear)
4. No sexual Harassment
5. No Profanity
6. No Mixing my Business with my Private Life
7. No Payments of Cash
8. No Talking About People with People you work with
9. No Drugs or Alcohol
10. No Compromising My Self-Respect
