13 Ways to a Happier Nine to Five

Let's face it, they say "do what you love and money will follow." Sometimes there's a bit of a delay for the royalty checks to roll in. You've got to eat and pay your rent.

Instead of looking at your current day job as a roadblock,a burden, a drag, see it as a stepping stone, an opportunity to learn, to change; to take some risks.

Besides your number one passion, what else are you really passionate about? There has to be a 9 to 5 you're somewhat passionate about. If not, create one!

While attracting the right opportunity, make the best of what you've got.

1. Find a 9 to 5 you can be passionate about (maybe it's people, animals, plants, a music store, library, coffe, food)
2. Be grateful for your 9 to 5. It supports you while you are persuing your dream.
3. Leave your job at the job. Don't take it home with you. It's time to create and do what you are truly passionate about.
4. Pick a 9 to 5 that can teach you something about the busines you're in, this way you will get paid to get educated. (Guitarcenter, Publishing Company, Music Library, Network Marketing, Teaching, Galery)
5. Choose a company with great benefits (health insurance, 401K, paid vacation)& discounts
6. Make as many connections through your 9 to 5 as possible, you never know where they'll be a year from now
7. Let your current "JOB" be a great motivater to get your dream going, do whatever it takes (write one song a day, contact one publisher a day, set goals and intend your day)
8. See everything and everyone around you as a valuable lesson
9. Go the extra mile! Take on some responsibilities to learn about leadership. Become a leader.
10. Everything is a choice.
11. Look for opportunities to start your own business. A business that will create passive income (Multi Level Marketing, Network Marketing)
12. Be creative! Think outside the box.
13. Don't get stuck in your job.(Remember JOB stands for Just Over Broke) Make it your Intention to build and grow your own business. Find ways to make money with the things you are passionate about.(network, research, see how your role models have achieved their dreams)
