Things will continue to function & believe it or not, there are some really great trips even close to home, that won’t take all your savings. A weekend getaway can revive your body & refresh your soul. Here are some nice ideas for a week or weekend vacation, & yes, even going for the weekend is a vacation(time away from work which allows you to plan your days as you please!)

Here is a great idea for a week or a weekend!

1. Visit Hershey Pennsylvania – The Sweetest Place on Earth! This town was made famous by Milton S. Hershey’s Company. The air is filled with the

Smell of chocolate and even the streets are lines with Hershey Kisses shaped street lights!

There is plenty of family fun at Hershey’s Chocolate World attraction. It’s an interactive chocolate experience for all ages and there’s shopping for anything & everything Hershey’s.

HERSHEY'S is known as the cleanest theme park in America. There are more than 60 rides & attractions, including, 10 roller coasters, 6 water slides, & more than 2 dozen kiddie rides. Plus, you’ll find live entertainment, photo shoots with the Hershey’s product characters, games of skill, lots of shops, & some really great food!

While at the park, you can learn about making chocolate on Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour. You are able to create your own fun by personalizing items at Hershey’s Factory Works attraction.

At the Hershey’s Really Big 3D Show, you can see the product characters come to life. When you are finished, head over to the delicious food & treats at the Kit Kat Café or the Courtyard Café.

There’s also a Hershey’s Hotel with great spa service, Zoo America, Golfing, Hershey Museum, Amish Country, Gettysburg Battlefield, & the Indian Echo Taverns.

Whether you are young or old there is plenty to do here in Hershey Pennsylvania!

2. Love to ski & Love the Mountains?

Enjoy 1 of the many resorts in Colorado with endless snow, varied terrain, & a variety of experiences for skiers of all levels.

Steamboat offers 3000 acres of skiing, a 3668 ft. drop, 140 trails, & one of the Rockies largest lift systems.

Beaver Creek is a superb resort that features a European-style town square with the village to village skiing.

Aspen hosts 4 world class mountains & over 4100 acres of ski terrain. There is an array of restaurants, art galleries, shops, & nightclubs.

Hotel Jarome is a 10 minute drive from the Aspen Airport. The hotel is known for its elegance, comfortable, accommodations, exquisite dining, personalized service, & modern amenities of a world class luxury boutique hotel. There is a heated outdoor pool & 2 jacuzzis with breathtaking views of the Aspen Mountains. You will also find a health club, spa, & 2 restaurants, & you’re just steps away from galleries, boutiques, & café’s.

So go ahead & satisfy that sweet tooth or try a little adventure on the slopes. You’re gonna have a great time!
