2. Yellowstone National park is located in the Mountains of Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Yellowstone is still considered one of the most pristine ecologies. The land for this state park was set aside  in 1870.

Each year two million tourists visit Yellowstone. The abundant wildlife and hot geysers are common attractions. I always remember visiting Yellowstone.

3. Everglades is a complex system of sawgrass marshes, , cypress swamps, mangrove forests, pine rocklands, and marine environments. The Everglades are ever changing due to water and fire. The Seminole tribe still resides in and around the Everglades which is located in Southern Florida.

The Florida Panther lives in the Everglades and is on the Endangered species list.

5. Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. These trees have fossilized due to the organic matter decomposing and replacing the cells with minerals. Arizona has the most colorful and largest collection of petrified wood.

People are not suppose to take the petrified wood other wise they have to pay $285.00 for a fine.

The Petrified National forest was recognised as a state park in 1906.

6. Bear Glacier is located in the Kenai Fjords National park in Alaska. There is quite an abundance of marine life. The Glaciers are spectacular. The best way to see these glaciers is a boat tour. A lagoon surrounds Bear Glacier, the water in the lagoon is fresh water.

7. Bandera Ice Caves are located in New Mexico. Sometimes called "The most moon like expanse on Earth." Natural layers of ice glistens on reflection of sunlight.
