The 2008 Chinese Lantern Festival

A quick peek at some of the amazing parts of the 2008 Chinese Lantern Festival, held at The Ontario Place in Toronto, Canada.

This year, the Chinese Lantern Festival was spectacular. There were many, many lanterns from small squirrels to the giant Eiffel Tower. They did a great job of bringing different places around the world to life.

There were so many different structures and wonders of the world at Ontario Place. There were chances to take amazing pictures of the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, the Parthenon, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Big Ben and much, much more.

On top of these lanterns, there are also many, many ‘animal lanterns’. There were animals from anteaters to polar bears. Your favourite animal was destined to be there.

And expanding from all of these fake beauties, there were real ones too! There was wild life from Lake Ontario and amazing night pictures and scenery of the coastline of Lake Ontario.

As I said, this years lantern festival was amazing and I am looking forward to next years, hopefully, bigger and better one.
