An amazing experience for everyone.

It is my first time to see a shuttle launch at the space center itself and I was so curious about it. We started our road trip at 4:30 in the afternoon from Jacksonville Florida going to Space view park in Titusville florida. It has a very warm temperature 81 degree fahrenheit. As ussual when you are in a road trip a good music in your car will be a great thing to do. We arrive at Titusville directly in the Indian River where the NASA's Launch complex 39 at the Kennedy Space Center at exactly 7 o'clock in the evening.

It was so funny because it took us 30 minutes before we found a good spot for our car to park. You could see those people who are already in the area with there family and friends with a full picnic bag enjoying the wonderful evening with smiles and laughters while waiting for the space shuttle to launch. They had there camera and video ready together with there children who are happy and giggling and playing in the seashore rocks. Till somebody making a countdown for a shuttle to launch and  there it is the amazing light and sound waves the shuttle endeavor created.

The seven astronaut mission STS-126 is to deliver equipment to the international Space station to provide a larger crews to reside within the complex. They are Astronaut Christoper Ferguson the commander, Astronaut Eric Boe the pilot, the crew members are Astronaut Sandra Magnus, Stephen Bowen, Donald Pettit, Robert Kimbrough and Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper. They are all mission specialist. It was been an amazing experience for all the people who are there at Kennedy Space Center who witness the big event of the space shuttle launch at night.

I envy you for being able to witness this. A few years ago I went to Florida to see a launch, but never got the chance. It was scrubbed for some reason and I had to come back home so never got to see it. This is one thing on my list of things to do before I die. So glad you got to see it, I bet it was magnificent!
