This is a plan to increase our electrical supply and stabilize the power grid.
Set up a nonprofit NGO (non governmental organization) funded with government monies initially in the amount of one hundered million dollars. Starting with the lowest income people on social security and veterans pensions of less than $15,000.00 per year total income and set up on their places of residence solar power production in the capacity that would cover the normal consumption of electricity plus 25% of use. The excess generated by the 25% would be going back into the electrical grid for stability and use by others on the grid. The revenues from this when flowing could be divided by the NGO and a portion of the revenues would be shared with the participants.
After the initial phase is in place time will have gone by and some of the factors involved in the first phase will be sorted out. The remaining part of the plan involves the maintaining and replacement of components as they need. Once the characteristics of the system has been formed and the maintenance schedule has been established the next phase could start.
In the third phase of this plan more of the products used would be less expensive as more are being manufactured and more innovative ideas could arise as well. At this point, the monies being collected by the NGO in the revenue category will be paying for itself and all of the costs associated with the installation and disbersment of the first phase. The plan could be expanded at this point to include the people with incomes from $15,100.00 to $30,000.00 as they chose to participate. This set of individuals will have the benefit of all of the previous work and planning that went before. Again, I stress that with each application an excess of 25% more than consumption be adhered to to keep our grid functioning and best capacity and spread to a much wider area than any new powerplant using any kind of fuel at a much lower cost overall. I say this because there would be no need at all to build more extreme high voltage transmission lines any where because the current lines going to the participants homes would already be there.
The final phase includes all other citizens in the USA given the choice to be involved with this. It is possible that by then affordabitity of the package to the individuals earning $30,100.00 or more that they could afford it on their own.
This plan covers every citizen of the USA and could be a model of how our largest businesses and other firms to get involved with other similar applications of solar, wind and wave/water production. Some of our largest corporations could set up nonprofit organizations to accomplish this and more without forcing any of our current prices up. The key factor here is the absolute lowest income people in the USA would benefit from this as well as most all other institutions by having stable power in our nations power grid. Also, in utilizing this model, our dependence of oil and other energy sources for the production of electricity could be reduced by possible 50% or more freeing up that much more oil and gas for other uses.
