Lpg

LPG as an alternative source of fuel.

Engines are known as machines for converting energy into force and motion, and these engines makes the automobiles work, but this engines won’t function without the help of a combustible matter which is used as an energy source known as fuel. In today’s world of smog-covered urban areas and the high pricing of fuel in the market, the use of low-cost alternative fuel source that is environmentally friendly will be a great help. It is also essential to lessen the pollution in our environment.

The use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) commonly known as auto gas is the substitute source of fuel by most taxi companies. LPG is mostly made from by product of oil refining. It has a simpler chemical make-up, which means that it has a cleaner burning. And since it is ready in gaseous form when it enters the combustion cylinder, it burns more efficiently than gasoline or diesel. It has fewer deposits building in the car engine that is why it will run smoother and last longer. It has an octane rate that is between 90 and 110 and an energy content that is between 25.5 mega joules per liter and 28.7. it has a gas extracted from petroleum, an oily flammable liquid pressurized in a tank that tends to expand indefinitely that may explode if not properly used. If used as an auto gas, it produces lesser ozone forming emissions that can reduce global warming and improve air quality particularly in cities where vehicle emission cause specific pollution problems.
