It has been four years without a dinosaur being spotted in Buena Park but thanks to extinct attractions club you can help change that. Extinct attractions club has a DVD with two ride throughs of the much loved and missed Kingdom of the Dinosaurs.
If you loved this ride like I know many did then you will love the DVD by extinct attractions club. After looking all over the Internet the only place that has footage of this ride is the extinct attractions club. They offer not just one but two full ride throughs. What one ride doesn't get much of or cover the other does. While the first ride through fails to notice or tape the pterodactyls the second one does. The first one also does a bad job of filming the saber tooth tiger the second one gets it. They are also filmed in different years as some minor set changes can be noticed.
Both ride throughs feature the banter of the riders as they ride which actually only makes the experience more like the real thing. Both videos must have been from a few years before the final close of the ride as both show the brontosaurs with its head and riders who experienced it late in its life will recall the head had been removed and the body covered up in a tarp.
There has been talk that since the space has been vacant for four years now will be used to make room for the ride that was originally housed here before Kingdom of the Dinosaurs, Knott's Bear-y Tails. It would be a move out of place with Cedar Parks roller coaster building on property but perhaps to appease fans of the family owned days they will revive Bear-y tales.
For those of you who loved this ride as kids and wish you could experience it again check out this site and relive the past once more.
