Most of us dream of winning the big lotto jackpot, and randomly pick up a computer generated quick pick lotto ticket.
One of the more common ways of selecting lottery numbers is to use birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates.
How about using your name, or a favorite affirmation? Here's a couple of fun ways to translate words to numbers:

How you use the numbers will depend on which lotto game you are playing, and how many words, and numbers you are using.
Lets experiment with a phrase, and the Latin code:
"I will win the lottery"
I=9 W=23 + I=9 + L=12 + L=12 W=23 + I=9 + N=14 T=20 + H=8 + E=22
L=12 + O=15 + T=20 + T=20 + E=5 + R= 18 + Y=25
I'm going to use this phrase to play Power Ball, which is five numbers, with a sixth powerball number:
I=9 My first #, and only choice for the Latin letter I. Heres the numbers from the following words :

Depending on which lottery you are playing, and how many numbers you need, there are a few different ways to proceed. If there's a power # add the last 2 basic numbers of your word or phrase: 80+50=130. One hundred and thirty is too big of a number for the lottery I'm playing, so I will reduce it: 1+3+0=4. Four is my power #. If there are too many numbers for your lottery, continue to add the pairs of numbers, from last to first, as we did with the power number, until you have the right amount. In my case, the number 56 is too big for the powerball ticket, so I will use the number 11.
My new personal lottery numbers are: 9-11-46-50-8 powerball: 4
