What I Think about the iPod Touch
Being an avid Apple user I was in awe when I first saw the details about the new iPhone that would soon swarm the markets. It had all the features I had always been wanting in my iPod for years. I was eager to buy one, but knew it was far from reach. I am currently locked into a 2 year contract on my family share plan with Verizon. Plus I'm not ready to put down the money for the cost of the phone on top of the plan cost for a single phone. *sigh*
Then, the iPod Touch was released. This contains most of the parts within the iPhone, minus the phone, camera, and vibration.
The iPod Touch has become my favorite tech gadget. With the release of the 2.0 software (worth the cheap download!), I can be constantly upgrading my iPod on a daily basis. Between the wide selection of games that utilize the multitouch screen and accelerometer (measures tilting) and the utilities that help me track my school assignments, I am constantly using my iPod. And best of all, most of the best applications are free!
So if you've got your eyes on the iPhone but don't have the $, then definitely check out the iPod Touch!
