Asus Eee Pc 900 with 20 GB SSD and Linux OS

A boot time of 20 seconds or less, a SSD that allows instant access to information, and an attractive small, sleek design are all reasons that the eee pc is ranked number one on this list. The Eee stands for easy to work, easy to learn, and easy to play. In my opinion, they should stand for easy to hack, easy to mod, and easy to carry, because those are important to me. The eee pc's small design and fast boot rate make it incredibly easy to travel with. It also runs XP very well and is even capable of running Vista decently. But it is a Linux pc so why don't we keep its decent pre-installed tab based software Xandros or install Ubuntu on it. Now all this mobility doesn't come cheap of course, WRONG, it actually comes incredibly cheap with a meager price tag of $549.99.
iPod Touch with Software Upgrades

The iPod Touch is definitely the best music player on the market, by far. There are a few other competitors that have touch screens, but none of them have the REAL internet. The iPod Touch's design is nearly perfect. Its home screen is nicely setup with the array of buttons. The iPod mode utilizes the touch screen well, in fact the whole phone does considering all the things you can do when all you have is a home button. When scrolling through albums it feels as if you are actually moving them in the real world, not virtually. Using the internet on the music player actually allows you to text for free; all you have to do is use an email provider with texting services. My only complaints are that it lacks Java and needs a keyboard, and if it wasn't for those two complaints the eee Pc would have some competition for the number one spot.
Sony Play Station 3

Looking for a cheap Blu-ray Player but saving up for an Xbox 360? Well, the PS3 is the combination of the both. The PS3 plays many of the same games as the Xbox 360, but has its own exclusive games as well. Its games target teenagers and adults more than the family audience the Wii picks up. The Blu-ray Player built into it isn't as nice as the $1000 top of the line players, but it plays the disk and is a lot more affordable. It also has a nice built in 40 GB hard drive. The cheap, bargain PS3 selling for $400 sadly doesn't offer backwards compatibility, but for a $100 more, you can get a 60 GB player with backwards compatibility. A PS3 is a bargain Blu-ray/ expensive video game console. But if you use it to its fullest, it is the best Blu-ray player out there.
Sony Handycam HDR-SR11

Sporting a 60 GB hard drive, this video camera is for the video enthusiast who is too lazy to upload their video to their computer or has a lot of filming to do. Its video quality is at an extremely high level and it produces impressive still photographs. But the main reason this camera is on this list is because it is the best HD video camera. Along with its HD compatibility it sports several other features. These features include an incredible 12 times optical zoom, a nice CAM CTL Dial, and a free docking station. The main problem with the video camera's price: $1000, and it doesn't even include a mini HDMI cable.
Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii is an incredibly fun console. Its motion sensing controllers or Wiimotes help create the best interactive play out of all of today's consoles and provides the most affordable simulation of virtual reality. The Wii is ready to play within ten minutes of getting it out of the box the first time. It is simple to learn and the controls, as complex as they seem, are easy to get used to. Games on the Wii sport a friendlier, arcade-like feel compared to games on the PS3 and Xbox 360. They are also much
more family-friendly and arguably more addictive. The games are easy to learn and most of them utilize the motion sensing technology. The Wii is backwards compatible with the Gamecube and you cane even plug Gamecube Controllers into it. The Wii also allows for free online play and gives direct access to the Wii Shop, where you can buy downloadable classic games, upgrades to current games, and more. The Wii is competitively priced at $250, making it provide the most bang for the buck when compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3.
