Not to worry, I'm here to give you a full on review of the iPhone and a look at the 3G version of the device.
There is plenty to love, but then again there is plenty to lament.
Looks
No-one can deny that the iPhone looks pretty. It has a very simplistic design, making it beautiful.

It sports a 3.5 inch display with a 480x320 pixel resolution. It has one of the biggest displays for any phone out there making it awesome for movies. It has a width of 62.1mm weighing in at 133 grams. As everyone knows, it has a touchscreen display. Some of you might be horrified to think of a touchscreen phone, but the iPhone just suits touchscreen, I cant imagine it with buttons, it uses multi touch interface very well.
The GUI is one of the best I have seen on any mobile phone. The iPhone main menu (more commonly known as the SpringBoard) is an excellent way to navigate and to launch different apps.
The iPhone is just style, its quickly becoming one of those gadgets to have.
Features
The iPhone has tons of features packed in it. The ability to browse the web in such a versatile way. You can listen to your music from the iPod either through your headphones or through the loudspeaker. And you would have never guessed, you can make phone calls and SMS messages with it! May you feel that you need more on your device to entertain you or help you, browse the AppStore directly from your phone and install thousands of different applications taking the iPhone to a whole new level. Browsing iTunes couldnt be easier on iPhone, so you can download music on the go. Additional features include: E-Mail, YouTube, 2MP Camera and WiFi. The iPhone even has an in-built accelerometer which detects where you move the device, so this can be used to rotate photos or even control games with it. Even taking screenshots is easy, simply press the sleep button and the home button together to take a screenshot. You can then upload it to your computer.

Of course, it isnt all good, there are some things that really do lack. Apple made the hard things look easy and the easy thing look hard!
MMS is a must for some people, while this can be added through third party apps, why not include it in the firmware? Copy & Paste is also required for many people. Then theres bluetooth, you might think the iPhone has bluetooth and it does. But it is crippled. The only thing you can do with it is make calls. You cant transfer files or wirelessly sync. Every modern phone has bluetooth file transfer capabilites, except iPhone.
Of course some of these features may be added though, because Apple creates a new version of the iPhone software every now and again to add new features. Copy & Paste is believed to be added soon and so is MMS.
Applications
There are so many applications out there for iPhone, that I had to make a section about it in this review. I have to check the AppStore every day because new Apps get added every day. The iPhone is also a great gaming device, with popular games such as Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart, Super Monkey Ball and Enigmo.

The 3D Graphics are amazing considering its a mobile phone.
Overall I think my favourite game is Enigmo, its packed with levels and others available to download, it can be frustrating, but exceptionally fun. Super Money Ball and Crash Kart are also great. Many games on the AppStore are controlled via the accelerometer. This means you tilt the device to control. For example if you want to control Crash in Crash Kart, you have to tilt forward to accelerate and tilt left and right to turn.
Of course the AppStore isnt all games, there are other useful applications out there. From controlling your computer remotely to reading e-books, or to finding the nearest Starbucks coffee.
The General Stuff

Well with all these great features and applications, how good will battery life be? Surprisingly good, so far I am impressed with the battery life, it has never died on me while I have been doing something. Of course I do have to charge it more than other phones. I just charge it every night however, and I use my iPhone a lot, and it lasts the whole day without getting low battery. The scratchy back of the iPhone doesnt impress me very much. It is metal, which is great because it doesnt get marked or scratched, but it doesnt feel right and since it is metal, it will get slightly lower reception than other phones, it wont kill you however.
