Nokia N72

The Nokia N72 is one of the best phones I've ever used.

It uses the Symbian Series 60 v2 operating system. Packed with great features, it is a really powerful device, and the sophisticated looks covering this power makes N72 a great phone.

N72 is a powerful phone. It has been provided with a 2 mega pixel camera and a flash light. The dedicated music player key and the camera capture key enhance accessibility.

The 220 MHz processor ensures the smooth running of games on this device.

Camera

It has a 2 mega pixel camera. A flash light has also been provided. The good thing is that this flash light can also be used as a torch, with the help of some third party applications. The feature of autofocus is NOT available, but still the image quality is good. The maximum resolution of the camera is 1600 X 1200.

Video Recording

The feature of video recording is also available. Videos can be recorded in 3gp format, or mp4 format. Mp4 format recording is really good, and the file size of the video recorded is also small.

Music Player

A dedicated music key has been provided, which helps to access the music player quickly. The music can be sorted as Artists, Albums, Recently added, and all songs. Play lists can also be made. Album arts are also displayed in Now Playing. The music player scores 10/10.

Ambient Light Sensor

This helps in saving the battery by switching off the keypad lights, when the light around is sufficient. The lights switch on automatically, if the surroundings are dark.

Symbian Series 60

Symbian Series 60 - open to new features. New software, including JAVA applications, can be easily installed on this device, thus increasing its usability. Some of my favorite applications and games are System Explorer, Rainbow Jek, K-Rally, etc.

Other Features

  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • USB Connectivity
  • Visual Radio
  • Nokia N72 has proved to be a great phone. Nothing less was expected from the N series.

N series- Listen new, See new, Feel new.
