Tips for buying an HD TV from Best Buy.

Must See Guide to Buying an HD Television from your local retailer

As Super Bowl Sunday approaches, more than 2.7 million consumers are expected to buy a new high definition television specifically for the big game. This is up from 1.7 million consumers last year. Why are so many people buying? Prices are lower than ever and HD content is more plentiful than ever. So you walk into your local electronics store on a mission to purchase your new HD TV. As you walk in the front door and head towards the televisions, you now notice that there are what seems to be hundreds of televisions to choose from. This is where the fun begins. You have to choose a technology, a screen size, and a price range. So you think a TV is a TV? Wrong. There is Plasma, Flat Panel LCD, DLP, LCOS, LCD Rear Projection, LCD Front Projection, Rear Projection, and your traditional Tube technology. All these complex high definition televisions range in size from 15” all the way to 80” in screen size. They do make larger than 80” screens but they are not readily available for home use.

So you have all these different technologies, different sizes, and tons of different prices. What are you to do? Speaking from experience, there is only one place I can recommend you go. Best Buy and its trained home theater specialists is your HD headquarters. They work in a non-commissioned environment and have access to the best product and always have the best pricing. They also have a perk that no other retailer has called “Reward Zone”. You get a $5 gift certificate for every $150 you spend with them. Best of all, the program is free. Not to mention Best Buy also gives great No Interest financing. Listen carefully now, these are the best tips that will save you money at Best Buy. Pricing – Get all the items you are interested in purchasing and ask the sales associate to go ask his or her manager what is the best price they can do on these items TODAY. (Even if the items are on sale, there are always extra discounts that can be taken.) Delivery – Tell the sales associate that Free Delivery is a must have. Financing – No matter what No Interest terms they are currently running, if it is not as good as 24 months No Interest, ask the sales associate for 24 months no interest. They can do a term change with the credit card company to make this happen for you.

So grab the family and head into your local Best Buy, follow these tips and you’ll soon be at home with a great looking HD television and feel great about how much money you saved and the exceptional customer service you received.
