The Ipod video 30GB black comes with a sleek smooth body design and considerably good size to put in your pocket. The good thing about the Ipod video is the image clarity of the video display which I think more than expected as it is as good as DVD quality image. And the sound quality is up to the expected standard if adjust to the highest quality setting.
What I disliked about the Ipod is firstly the music and video data formats which have to be converted into AC3 and in order to this you need a special software i.e. Cucusoft conversion software. Fortunately you can always find free software from free torrent download. Otherwise you won't be able to watch anything on your Ipod.
Secondly deleting of data from the Ipod requires it is to be connected to the computer so that you can do deleting manually. This making the Ipod is relying too much on the computer to do the job, and without it Ipod is nothing more than a just of useless device.
Thirdly there is an annoying combination of Ipod and Itunes whenever it is connected to the computer. A command prompt will automatically appear asking you whether to replace the existing Ipod data with the newer data on your PC. If you are inexperience user of the Ipod, you might have the tendency to click "yes" and erase the entire existing file such as photos or music. This is not only can be done by you also someone who hold your Ipod might accidently did it. I believe this is one little ridiculous thing that Apple has to fix.
