In the modern day world, cell phones are advancing faster than you can think. People are discovering all the things that can fit into a modern day cell phone. When the iPhone first came out it was breathtaking, With a 3.5 inch widescreen multi-touch display, Wi-Fi, MP3 player, and everything else, weighing only 4.7 ounces, the phone seemed unbeatable. The iPhone started at around $500-$600. That is pretty expensive considering that it lacked a high speed wireless network and had problems with calls from time to time.
It wasn't too bad though, because the iPhone, just like any other iPod, it has an update feature. Apple will make updates and send them over the internet to all iTunes and the next time you plug your phone in the computer, the updates will be ready.

As for the slow network, however, apple created a new iPhone called the iPhone 3G. The iPhone 3G uses fast, 3G networks instead of the slower one previously used. The iPhone 3G has better features than the first iPhone and it started selling at only $199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB model. An amazing new deal!
Apps Store
With the new Apps store, you can download all types of applications for your phone. The Applications are not all free; some cost as much as $30.00.There are a lot of free ones that are just as good as the paid ones. You might be asking, "What exactly do applications do for my phone?" Well, Applications can be for just pure entertainment, like games, or virtual ‘toys.' While others are helpful tools or informative things, like bibles, ebay, MySpace, and even a remote control app. The Applications feature is a great new thing that is helpful and fun.

Overall, the iPhone is obviously ages ahead, as it boasts amazing features such as, an mp3 phone, internet, PDA, and an incredible touch screen. Even with all those features there are tons more on the way as apple continues to update and advance the iPhone.
