Cool, versatile, cheap, but looks priceless is what a driver dreamt of. Especially with this brand new steel metal Pontiac Vibe with DOHC 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and a new DOHC 2.4-liter inline-4 option will surely hurdle everybody out of their seats.
Pontiac is reviving the GT and AWD editions of the Vibe. The 2.4 will be the standard engine on each, and it will be optional on the base Vibe. Just to confuse matters, you'll be able to select from either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox with the 2.4, but only on the base and GT versions. There's only one transmission choice on the Vibe AWD: a four-speed automatic. The new five-speed automatic box, incidentally, comes with tap-shift controls.
