Seattle Washington has a mega store not to be missed. Its Seattle's very own Archie McPhee. Trying to define what exactly Archie McPhee sales is hard to say. You could say they sale everything. To make things simple though lets say that Archie McPhee is the largest most bizarre and fun novelty Store. Offering over 10,000 unique and unusual items.
Some examples of the items sold at Archie McPhee are chicken suits, and lawn gnomes. The store started in LA as a mail-order business but as business got going they moved to Seattle. The store is named after the owners' distant cousin a Jazz player Archie McPhee.
There is over 11,000 square feet in the Seattle store. One of there big sellers is the evil rubber duckies with new models coming out all the time. These duckies include pirate ducks, and devil ducks just to name a few.
They also offer the worlds largest underwear coming in at 100 inches in the waist. A popular aisle is the Bacon theme aisle including gummy bacon, bacon toothpicks, and bacon band-aids. Most bacon sales are to friends of vegetarians.
If you like action figures then Archie McPhee is the place for you. There are over 40 different kinds and we are not counting different characters. You wont find your Star Wars, G.I. Joe, or Transformers here (well maybe but only some rare and unique ones). They have many historic figures such as Jane Austin, and Einstein. They even have a OCD action figure which comes with its own wet nap.
An odd and for Archie McPhee that means it has to be odd but popular seller we are told is the yodeling pickles. Who would want a yodeling pickle, your guess is as good as ours but you have to admit thanks to Archie McPhee a lot of people have been freaking out of there pickles that are singing to them.
Archie McPhee has tons of great cubicle toys with hundreds of kinds of launchers and catapults including various kinds of ammo such as small plastic cows, and chickens. The down side is while no one will know who shot the ubiquitous spitball they will know who shot the flying pig.
If you are in love and love zany gifts then don't fear Archie McPhee offers a bridal registry. The registry has some interesting sections to it. Also for the bride and groom are wedding cake toppers. With 30 bride and groom toppers ranging from grooms pulling brides to the altar and vice a versa there is sure to be a funny topper for your wedding.
Archie McPhee gets over 80,000 visitors a year. It's a great store with great employees who are happy to let you play around in the store before buying stuff. They also don't get mad at people for browsing they figure if you don't get something today you will be back soon. If you don't live in Seattle don't fear you can order items online.
