Everybody thinks that the telephone was invented by Alexander graham bell. but the first telephone ever made was made by Antonio Meucci but he never got around to applying a patent so bell built one of his own and applied a patent so bell would get all of the credit.
The first telephones were huge and worked with operators operating it manually with all the cables . And about 4-5 people shared the same telephone line so every body new what was going on in the town .Today the telephones are way different the are like 10 times smaller and digital and everybody has their own phone line.
Alexander graham bell was born March 3 1847 in Scotland he moved to Canada in 1870.
He applied for the patent March 7 1876 .
He made the first telephone company in the world on July 9 9887 named bell and it is still one of the biggest telephone companies in the world .
Bell died on July 9 1934.
