The Guns and Roses

Guns and Roses is a American hard rock band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1985.

he band sold up to 100 million albums. The members of the band were Axl Rose (lead singer), Dizzy Reed, Robin Finck, Tommy Stinson, Chris Pitman, Richard Fortus, Bryan Mantia, Bumblefoot, Frank Ferrer. Former members of the band were Slash, Duff McKagen, Joss Freese, and many other more. The Band was successful in 1988 - 1993. The music of Guns N' Roses is a mix of punk rock, metal and classic rock and roll.

The First Album that Guns and Roses made was called "The Appetite for Destruction". It ws released in July 21 1987. In the U.K, "its so easy" was released, and because of this album the band became much more popular. The album went through an artwork change Robert Williams cover design caused complaints from religious groups and caused some record stores to complain, or refuse to sell the CD. The revised cover was designed from a tattoo that Rose had recently commissioned featuring skeleton faces of five band members placed on a cross. Rose later suggested that the Gold and silver plaques issued by the RIAA should be set using the original cover. The artwork on the cover of the CD's booklet.

In January 2001, Guns and Roses finally came back as a revised self. Axl Rose is still the leads singer of the Band. The band played a mixture of old hits and new songs from their new album. There were many changes in the New Guns and Roses. Many people were replaced, such as Paul Tobias(Rythem guitartist) by Richard Fortus, Bumblefoot was replaced by Buckethead, and Frank Ferrer(drummer) was replaced by Bryan Mantia. The Band went through many changes. The band members now are Axl Rose, Robin Finck, Ron Thal and Richard Fortus on guitars, Tommy Stinson on bass, Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman on keyboards and Bryan Mantia on drums.

The band has received up to 15 awards and had 21 televised performances.
