Dr. Josef Mengele
had a general interest in twins. He did most of his experiments on twins such as sticking them together to create Siamese twins, trying to separate Siamese twins and implanting different things to them. Although he did most of his experiments on twins, that did not leave everyone else safe.
Experiments that he would perform on other people can range from injecting different chemicals into their bodies, injecting bleach, dyes and other chemicals into their eyes, holding them underwater merely to see how long they could hold their breath, gas them to see what gas was the most deadly or killed faster and dissecting them. There are not many survivors of his deadly experiments, and those who lived to tell the tale are mentally and physically scarred for life.
Before the camp was liberated all the Nazis stationed there fled the camp trying not to run into U.S. troops. Dr. Mengele fled to South America, taking most of his notes with him. Some of the notes were recovered by the United States, but not all of them. No one knows the location of the rest.
Dr. Mengele's name will forever be written in the history of the world as one of the deadliest people known to mankind. He killed over 500,000 people (not including the millions that died in that gas chambers). Will the world ever be able to know the findings of this delivery man of death? And is the world ready for another person like him? Will the world ever forgive this "Angel of death"?
