Spike Lee was born in 1957, in Atlanta Georgia, but moved to Brooklyn at a young age. His father( William Lee) was a jazz musician and his mother(Jacquelyn Lee) was a school teacher. He was an only child, and he is still alive today.
Spike Lee went to went to Morehouse college in Atlanta but developed is film making at Clark Atlanta University . He graduated a film program at Tisch school of arts.
He has produced many films such as M.O.N.Y, Selling Time, College Daze, Dream Street, Through the Fire, Malcolm X, Dogma, The Best Man, and Clerks, and He has produced many music videos .He is famous for his work in the black entertainment scene , and helping to build a pathway for black producers in the U.S.
