Born on June 4th, 1951, Philips went to St. Anne's college, Oxford. She later worked on the Evening Echo, Hemel Hempstead. Philips writes for the Daily Mail and appears regularly on BBC Radio 4's program The Moral Maze.
Philips "is regarded as one of the [U.K.] media's leading right-wing voices", according to the BBC. She likes to describe herself as "defending authentic liberal values against the attempt to destroy western culture from within."
A critic of radical Islam, fundamentalism, anti-Semitism, Philips opposes gay marriage and partnership rights.
Apart from Londonistan, Philips is author of All Must Have Prizes, The Sex-Change Society: Feminized Britain and the Neutered Male, America's Social Revolution and The Ascent of Women.
She also travels around, speaking on her pet issues like terrorism, fundamentalism in the
UK and changing face of Europe.
