Kyra Belan captures the essence of nature and life and represents something unique. She believes earth, spirit, or gender contains all the meanings of nature and her eco-feminist vision. She reflects on the dominant social system and views nature as the territory to conquer and to tame.

Belan feels her art works are viewed as part of nature and the Goddess of the Earth and how it will impact society. She definitely views animals as well as natural life components such as plants and underwater life to have the same privilege as humans. All natural elements can induce peace, harmony, beauty, and joy into society. One of Belan's beliefs is to heal our mindset, which will create change in the structure of society. Her positive image in art can help to effect this change (Belan p. 47).

Belan goes into depth about the dawn of the Twenty-Fifth Century, of our society and issues that may cause self-destruction in the future. She also shows her compassion towards Mother Earth. She further explains the destruction of our tropical forests and the natural habitats that are of being extinct. In order for our planet to heal, humans must be more caring and sensitive towards nature. She expresses her opinion on the change of society and how the industrial revolution has under siege nature. She also represents the feminine values that glorify peace, love, and compassion to bring a change into our lives.

Belan pledges among all people an important and value message by using visual images that can accelerate change in nature. She emphasizes contemporary art as realism and focuses on art criticism such as the Dream, Freedom, and The Other. She turns to post modern time and the issues about artists expressing their particular viewpoint towards the public. As Belan says, “Since prehistory, the content in art has been a motivationl force. It has opened the gateway to transmit ideas that clearly values the system of society”. She then explains the message that artwork can bring to us and how it presents the understanding of life and the world to come.
