Bill Gates was born October 28, 1955 Seattle, Washington. He is now still head of a the raging business Microsoft at the age of 53.
This boy was smart, and it didn't hurt having a semi-photographical memory either. When he was in third grade he read a three page poem for the first time ever, then he put it down and recited the poem word for word without looking. He was always Valedictorian of his class, even though he skipped a few classes while he was in Middle School just to get on the school computer. Now, this wasn't the same kind of computer you see today. This computer was about the size of an average bath room today. It did not have an operating system and it didn't have programs either. Bill Gates changed that though, even though he was only in High School. He made the first Tic Tack Toe game for the computer. That's when he met his best friend and future co- CEO of their company (Microsoft).
When he got into Harvard College he took the hardest math classes he could, because he was always very strong in math. However, when he gets to know the other classmates' abilities he realizes he isn't the most astute in his class anymore. While he was in college an IBM PC came out. Of course his friend Paul Allen and himself had to get one. The PC came with MS DOSE. Bill Gates and his friend made some simple programs for their own computer.
Bill Gates and Paul Allen finally started the business of their dreams, Microsoft . The name Microsoft came from the Micro in micro computer(PC) and the soft came from software. They gave their employees a lot of time to just have fun at the campus. They believed that happy workers are harder workers. This had a pretty big part in becoming a multi-billion dollar business so quickly. Microsoft made all of the Windows series for computers now. Microsoft also made Xbox as well. I am sure there will be a lot more from Microsoft in the near future.
I'm certain the determination of Bill Gates has done all of this. It is truly amazing what determination can do.
