Bruce Lee was one of the worlds greatest martial artists ever. He had high family values and loved to perform. Here are a bunch of cool facts you probably didn't know. |
- He was born in the U.S.A. in San Francisco on November 27, 1940 in the Jackson Street Hospital in Chinatown
- His dad was an opera singer
- He liked to dance and won the Crown Colony Cha-Cha Championship in Hong Kong in 1958
- He was so strong he could do pushups with one finger
- He could throw granules of rice up into the air and then catch them in mid-flight using chopsticks
- His birth name is Lee Jun Fan
- He spoke English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese
- He was a gang leader in his teenage years. The name of his group was known as "The Tigers of Junction Street"
- He developed a trick for showing off his speed: a person held a coin and closed his hand, and as he closed it, Lee would take it and could even swap the coin for another
- He loved to read. He had his own personal library with literally hundreds of books he loved to read
