The Top Six Best Drinking Games

Friday evening, Saturday night, or Wednesday morning, these games are guaranteed to be a hit and most importantly get you completely wasted.

Kings

You will need

  • A deck of cards
  • An empty glass
  • 2 or more friends

As the king of drinking games this card based past time deserves number one on our list. Its versatility means that everyone can play at there own pace, and can get as squiffy as they want (usually more). Each player in turn draws a card and executes action determined by the value of the card. Many different rules are available for this game but it is encouraged to create your own in order to tailor the game to your own drinking style.

Flip Cup

You will need

  • Two teams of at least two people
  • A cup for each player
  • A relatively flat table or surface

This game has dominated keggers since they have been around. Its simplicity and inevitable nail biting finishes always bring excitement to any party. The basis of the game is a relatively simple task of flipping an empty cup from upright to upside down with the flick of a finger. Don't let the modesty of this task fool you, after a few games it becomes much more difficult to perform this rotary maneuver. The teams race, chugging and flipping in order, until the winning team finishes. The losers are left to sip their drink in embarrassment.

Sink it and Drink it

You will need

  • A large vase or pitcher
  • A small juice or shot glass
  • 2 or more people

A relative new comer relative to other games, this game has established itself as worthy of our list, purely based on its inebriating tendencies. The vase is first filled with enough booze so that the juice glass will float in it. The players then take turns filling the juice glass until someone causes it to sink, this player must then chug a full glass from the vase. Once everyone is feeling good and hosed the true magnificence of the game is experienced. The full vase is passed around with each person chugging from it for a longer time than the person before them. Usually this doubles the alcohol intake of each player and will always lead to a good night.

Century Club

You will need

  • 8 - 10 beers
  • 100 minutes
  • One shot glass

To joint he Century Club you must consume one shot of beer, every minute, for 100 minutes. Do not let the small increments fool you, in just over an hour and a half you will have consumed 8 - 10 beers and be wondering why you decided to begin this malted marathon. It is an extremely arduous journey but those who are part of the club will tell you it is well worth it.

Quarters

You will need

  • One quarter
  • One or more friend
  • Beer glasses
  • A flat surface or table

Popular since the invention of the quarter this game is a classic because of its simple set-up and begrudging game play. Each player takes turns trying to bounce the quarter off of the table and land it in someone's drink. If the quarter's arc leads it into a drink the owner must chug their refreshment and the shooter gets to shoot again. This straightforward ricochet starts out easy but quickly becomes more of a challenge as the beverages are consumed.

Beer Pong

You will need

  • A ping pong ball
  • 3 friends
  • 20 beer glasses
  • A long table

Beer Pong has always been a college classic and it makes our list because of the remarkable skill level that is possessed by those who play it. The glasses are set-up at each end of the table and teams of two take turns tossing the ball into the beer filled glasses. A clean toss, and the other team drinks. This skill is easy enough to learn but amazingly tough to master especially while intoxicated.
