When you go on a camping trip there are things you must follow to insure your safety. You must bring specific tools and supplies. You also must know your surroundings and environment.
Before you start camping you must make sure you have the right tools. The tools that are required are listed below.
- A lighter or matches: This is required to make a fire. A fire can be used to keep you warm, cook your food, keep wild animals away, etc.
- Tent, or other kid of shelter: This is required because you need a place to sleep, and to spend the night in.
- Proper clothing: The proper clothing is required because you do not want to catch a cold if it is too cold outside. Make sure you bring extra clothing.
- Food: You can bring any kind of food you want. Canned food may be easier to bring.
- A knife: A hunting knife is suggested because you may need to cut through some plants.
- A cellphone: If you ever get lost you can use this to contact someone.
- Fire extinguisher: This can be used to put out a fire.
There are also things that you should not bring. They are listed below.
- Fireworks: Fireworks can create dangerous fires, and will disturb the environment.
- Improper clothing: clothing such as high heeled shoes, and dresses should not be brought to the camping zone.
