If you are sick and tired of spending a paycheck every time you fill up your car, then now is the time to start considering shopping for an alternative vehicle to drive and save money on the gas you need. These “Gas Sippers: 10 Smart Cars That Can Get Up to 300 MPG of Gas” are the best short and long term solution to fuel conservation and are readily available to the general public right now. So, start saving or stop bitching about having to spend $4.00 or more for a gallon of gas.

Developing a new and improved energy alternative is as much as a decade away and for immediate fuel and energy savings the gas-powered scooters and scooter vehicles can move people and haul loads from point A to point B, while using less fuel than the traditional cars and trucks the majority of the world drives today. The environmental impact is less impacted driving a scooter, besides using less gas to operate, these scooters require only 2 or 3 wheels which its rubber requires oil to manufacturer, so one less wheel means less raw material needed and a softer environmental impact.

Gas-powered scooters or gas-powered hybrid electric scooters are much more practical than fully electric or biofuel scooters, because gas-powered scooters can travel longer ranges on a tank of fuel than fully electric or biofuel scooters are able to travel. Gasoline is cheaper to produce and safer for the environment than either electricity or biofuel.

Biofuel is made from corn, wheat, soybean, rice and/or sugarcane, all of which are food supplies that humanity needs to survive. Biofuel ultimately will drive the prices of food up and could create artificial food shortages around the world and even causing millions of people to die of starvation and for what, to fuel our cars. Biofuel cost more to produce than one gallon of gasoline and it requires about 40 gallons of water besides the corn, wheat, soybean, rice or sugarcane to produce one liter of biofuel. So, gas-powered scooters are the best short term and long term solution to stop relying on cheap gas prices and start taking some responsibility to solve our own affordable personal commuting needs.

Great Article Nelson Doyle!
It will be fascinating to see how the Toyotas and Hondas of the world compete in the USA to deliver higher mileage vehicles. Consumer demand for this is growing exponentially as prices for gas continue to rise. Ohh what will the future bring?

I initially thought that these vehicles are just prototypes. You really have to break convention with some odd-looking vehicles. Thanks.

These are some awesome cars and I have to agree with #2, because I too had thought that these were prototype cars, but now I know that I can buy one for myself today if I wanted to. Thanks for the information, because I needed a new car and this time I will buy something like these that you wrote about. It does make sense to buy a car that can double the MPG or even possibly triple it. All of the other alternatives that we hear about are seven to ten years down the road and we can complain all day long, but nothing in our own lives won't change until we take charge of our own lives and make the change, now.

Great article and I will pass this one to my family and friends.

Sounds logical if you are planning to buy a vehickle, but for me I will drive my old car untill the wheels fall off, then I'll see what is available out there.(I don't use enough gas to make it worth while to make a car payment).

great options,scooters are todays Asia's blockbuster-very economical

I noticed that only small 3-wheeled units are featured. I wish you will find time to feature medium size fuel-saving vehicles for users that require more seats to accommodate large family members.

Great article.

eddiestar: the reason toyota and honda have overall higher mileage vehicles is not because they have the most fuel efficient. Toyota doesn't make large trucks like Super Duty or large vans like E-series...there is a demand for these vehicles by fleets because they r necessary. Also, Ford and GM produce more hybrid models than Honda...Ford makes the Escape hybrid, Tribute hybrid, and Mariner hybrid while Honda only makes the Civic. The point is, Honda and Toyota aren't the best when compared side to side...for example, the Ford Focus acheves 0.09 on emissions while all other cars in its class get around 0.41...Focus is the greenest of the gasoline-powered small cars. Also remember that Toyota was the genius company that thought up the Tundra; a disaster since production.

With gas price going through the roof, these vehicles can save us a lot of money. Also, these are greener than conventional vehicles.
