Tyranids Paint Scheme

A quick and easy way of getting a simple design to look good on a Tyranid.

Sick of painting broods of broods of tyranids, tired of getting another idea for a painting scheme for them halfway through another, well here's my solution.

All you need in a few steps.

  1. Spray models with black spray.
  2. Paint models shining gold with a tank brush, this may need 1 or 2 coats.
  3. Coat all carapace/claw/talons skull white, with 2 coats.
  4. Now here's where they look good, paint blazing orange over the carapace, with 2 coats.
  5. (Optional) You don't have to do this, but I prefer a battle hardened army, so I lightly dry brush a scorched brown over the body.
  6. Now battle with a unique look in your army, let your oponents be dazzled by a quick, and effective, tyranid look.
