This is my first article for the AndAnotherThing team. I'm writing it on the roof terrace of my house in Vejer de la Fronterra in Spain. It's a warm evening and as I look seawards out over the river's mouth I am reminded of the planet Venus and all she stands for. Here is a list in summary of Venus:
Nature, the perfect combination of fire, earth, air and water
Nurture, the perfect combination of love, laughter, lessons and light
Sex, the sizzling effects of sensual softness and firm exploration
Fecundity ~ health, wealth and wherewithal
Venus has wonderful effects. Letting harmony with Venus pervade your life and influence your environment will bring contentment and sometimes thorough joy. Venus takes sight, sound, touch, feel, taste and smell and indulges them all. Harmonized color, texture, flavor and aroma can produce beautiful spaces and orgasmic consequences. Think of the patios of Cordoba, imagine its once Great Mosque approached through orange trees. This terrace is a similar place.
William Shakespeare was born under Taurus and as such was an individual heavily under direction of this the best of our planets - Venus. His love poetry adds something special to his merely spectacular wit and this comes from Venus as does his wisdom in understanding the characters of the people he writes and understanding the needs of his audiences. True Venus brings warm popularity.
The forthcoming articles I will write will give a Venus theory. How, in theory, can Venus be used to produce words in perfect combination? How did William Shakespeare do it? Did the writers of Harry Potter and The Da Vinci Code understand the principles involved? Did any of them write in such a beautiful place as my terrace?
