Cross stitch, cross stitch and more cross stitch. If you are into cross stitch like me, you would not pass up the chance of getting more cross stitch patterns, free or otherwise. And the web is full of beautiful cross stitch patterns just waiting for you.
One of my favorite pastimes is to surf the net for beautiful cross stitch patterns. Of course, it would be great if these patterns are free but I am prepared to pay for great patterns that I am interested in. My stash has been growing by leaps and bounds with all the patterns I have discovered. Here are more cross stitch designers with fresh and interesting designs.
One of them is Lynne Nicoletti. Her designs are innovative and unusual, including mail art designs and illusion designs. Take a look at her illusion designs, especially the Wedding Kiss, isn't it beautiful. Although not cross stitch designs, her watercolours are beautiful and hopefully she would one day convert them into cross stitch designs.
The Brendamor Designs is based in Australia. Most of their designs are inspired by the Australian wildlife and scenery. Their cross stitch design of the pink bottlebrush is detailed and realistic, so are their designs of the birdlife. I especially like their Magnolia Panel. Very beautiful!
Another designer from Canada with beautiful cross stitch and needlework patterns: Maria E. Cipp. Her website Marnic Designs carries beautiful and creative designs like Reading Opens Up My World, What Matters is Within, The Mother & Child Series and many more. All the charts are colorful and beautiful with attention to details. They also provide services like converting photographs to cross stitch, custom cross stitch
Tanya Meehan Designs are simple yet beautiful and would stitch up very fast. Just take a look at her Halloween Gameboard. Stitch it up and you can enjoy a nice game of chess with your loved ones!
Take a look at Helga Mendl's designs. Bold and colourful, these patterns will appeal to stitchers, young and old. Her designs are simple and quick-to-stitch, suitable for the beginner.
Do you like blackwork patterns? Tam's Creations has lovely patterns for the beginner and advanced stitchers. Just take a look at the blackwork animals and you will see how, with different stitches, she is able to bring out the expressions of the animals.
These are just some of the websites that I came across while surfing the net. Just browsing through these websites and downloading free patterns (or buy some patterns) from them will keep you occupied for a long time. Enjoy!
