Materials:
- Silver Duct Tape
- Black Duct Tape
- White Duct Tape
- Scissors- optional
- Dollar Bill
Instructions:
Lay your dollar out and stretch out a piece of silver duct tape a half inch longer than the bill. Then, cut or tear it. When you put the wallet all together, you will find that the extra room will help. Place the piece of silver duct tape sticky side up on the dollar. You will want to make sure that the bottom of the tape is level with the bill.
You will notice with the tape on the bill, you can still see some of it. Take the roll of duct tape and stretch out another piece the same length as the first, cut or tear it out, and lay it sticky side up so it sticks to the other piece. This piece should totally hide the dollar bill.
Now, you will need two more pieces of silver duct tape. These should be the same length of the first two, and after you rip them off, place them on top of the first two. It should go stick side to sticky side when you set them down. You have made a side of your future wallet.
Once you have finished the first side, set it to the side and make the other. It is the same process as above.
I bet you guessed the next step. Now we have to connect the two sides so that there is one slot on the longer side of the two sides. To do this, you will need another piece of, yet again, silver duct tape and rip it so that it is the same length as the two sides. Next, you line your sides up, and attach the duct tape to the bottom of the two sides, so that it closes it up completely.
Now that you got the bottom on, the side will help keep your money from falling out. Using the silver duct tape, stretch out two piece and rip them so they are the length of the sides, and attatch one to each side.
You have made your wallet, congratulations! Now, fold your wallet in half and put some weight on it. A large dictionary or book should do. Let it sit like that overnight, and in the morning, you have your very own duct tape wallet.
Why settle for a normal silver wallet when you can spice it up a bit? You can buy white and black duct tape at most craft store and makes your wallet look much better.
First, stretch out your white piece of duct tape so that it is long enough for the front side of your wallet. If you want, use a little more, and make it the length of your side, and stick it in the very middle so you have a white strip of duct tape going around the outside or front of your wallet.
Next, it get a little trickier. Get a piece of your black duct tape and rip it so it is the same length as your white piece. Now you have to rip it so that the duct tape is ripped in that the long way, instead of what you have been doing. Now each piece of black duct tape goes on opposite sides of the white tape. Be sure to put the black pieces over the white so it makes it look like the white piece it the same width as the black pieces. When you are finished it should look a little like the picture.
Now you will have the most stylish wallet around. Make them for family and friend's birthdays or for the holidays.
