Edible Jelly Bean Jewelry

A quick and fun activity for kids.

With Easter coming up, what could be more fun than making your own edible jewelry? Making an edible bracelet or necklace using jelly beans is quick and easy and fun for the kids!

Items you'll need:

  • Jelly Beans, multi colors
  • Needle
  • Elastic thread

Have the kids pick the colors of jelly beans they want in their bracelet. The number depends on how big you want the bracelet to be. A small wrist will use less, a large wrist will use more… for even more fun, you can create a necklace using jelly beans also.

Thread the needle and tie a knot at the end of the thread to prevent the jelly beans from falling off. Begin by placing the needle into the jelly beans and thread as many as you need for your project. When finished, tie the ends together, creating a bracelet or necklace that kids can snack on!

What a wonderful idea, Cara! My nephew's wife runs a day care. I must mention this to her...the kids will love it.
