Here are the top six most expensive cars in the world. Keep in mind that these are the most expensive street legal cars.

Bugatti Veyron

Bugatti Veyron, the most expensive car in the world is produced by Volkswagen Group and was introduced in 2005. It cost a huge $1, 192, 057 dollars. The car’s engine produces 1001 hp, and can go from 0 mph to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 2.50 seconds. It is also the second fastest car in the world with the highest speed of 253.81 mph (408.47 km/h).

Lamborghini Reventon

Lamborghini Reventon, second most expensive car was produced by Lamborghini. It was introduced to public in 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. It's costs a $1, 600, 000 dollars. The car's engine produces 650 hp. The car can go up to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds, and it has a maximum speed of 340 km/h (210 mph). Reventon is named after a fighting bull, which was known for killing a famous bull fighter Félix Guzmán in 1943. 

Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari Enzo, the second most expensive car was completed by Ferrari and used Formula One technology. It was completed in 2003. The cost of the car is approximately $1, 000, 000 dollars. It can go up to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.6 seconds. With a top speed of 230.95 mph (354 km/h), it also has 660 hp. It was also rated 4 on “Greatest Ferraris of all time”.

Pagani Zonda C12

Pagani Zoda, the third most expensive car was completed by Pangai in 2005 in Italy. The cost of the car is $741, 100 dollars. It can go up to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3. 5 seconds. It has a top speed of 215 mph (346 km/h) and it’s engine produces 602 hp. It was also the record holder for the fastest lap (one lap is 12.9 miles). It completed one lap in 7 minutes 27.82 seconds. 2009 Corvetta later beat it in 2008.

Koenigsegg CCX

Koenigsegg CCX, the fourth most expensive car was completed by Koenigsegg in 2006. The car cost $600, 910 dollars. It can go up to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds. It’s top speed is expected to be over 250 mph (402 km/h). It was the fastest car to complete a lap in Top Gear, which is a BBC television series, in 2007. It ‘s engine produces 806 hp.

Porsche Carrera GT

Porsche Carrera GT, the fifth most expensive car was completed by Prosche in Germany. The car costs $484, 000 dollars. It can go up to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.8 seconds. It has a top speed of 206 mph (330 km/h). It engine produces 605 hp.

I love the Koenigsig. It is a lovely car, and one day I would love to drive one. Of course, considering the expensive, that''s just a poop dream for me. Oh, and there''s also the BMW Gina, although I don''t know if it''s comparable in expense, but also another lovely car.

Very good. But just to give you a heads up, Bugatti is actually making the Veyron faster with more power now. It's said that it will reach 270 mph with 1600 horsepower. So yeah.....you might wanna update this article sometime in the future.

One more note.....you need to put in the Lamborghini Reventon since only 20 of them will be made and they cost $1.6 million dollars.
