GMC is releasing a Yukon Hybrid SUV which is scheduled to role out sometime in 2008 along with the Chevy Tahoe. It will run on two 40 hp electric motors along with either a v6 or 5.3-liter v8 engine.
It is estimated that the new hybrids will improve the fuel economy of the vehicle by up to 30-percent. The Yukon Hybrid will also feature a 300-volt battery back and brakes that will help recharge the battery pack when used.
The Yukon hybrid will have the same interior and exterior style selections as the Yukon along with all additional specification options.
