Jimmy and Johnny were two good friends, until it came to boat-racing. They were very competitive whenever one challenged another to race on the nearby lake. Today, it was sold cold that Johnny’s spit froze over before it thudded against the ground.
The two boys set their motor boats near the dock and climbed inside. They would begin from rest, letting the engine warm up, and then race around the border of the lake to declare who would be the winner. Once the referee said to start, Johnny and Jimmy were on the move.
The race is close! Johnny is about four feet ahead of Jimmy and it looks like Johnny will win this match. But wait, Jimmy starts throwing stuff out of his boat so that he can accelerate faster with less mass. It appears Jimmy’s motorboat is changing velocity now. The faster speed of his boat catches him up to only one feet behind Johnny’s boat.
Just then, a huge wave of water from in front of Johnny and Jimmy hits them hard, pushing them backwards with a strong force. Luckily, they are alright and no harm has been done. Johnny and Jimmy continue the race from there, and it turns out Johnny wins.
The two friends drove their boats back to the docks. When Johnny stepped off his boat onto the bank of the lake, his boat moved in the opposite equal direction causing him to fall face down! Jimmy felt much better seeing Johnny soaked, even though he lost the race
