Ether means Akash-Tatva the finest material filled in space (Akash) throughout the universe. Space does not mean vacuum. Ether is filled even inside the matter and all the atomic particles. The whole universe is suspended inside this ether. It is omnipresent everywhere like God. All kinds of electromagnetic waves including light cannot travel in vacuum, but need ether to travel. It is the first finest manifestation of God into material form and all the subatomic particles has come out of it later. Scientists have now got the evidences of ether in the universe. They call it dark matter.
All the magnetic, electric & gravitational fields need a medium to exist. These are some sorts of disturbances inside the ether. At the end of the universe the whole matter will dissolve back into ether. Ether is neither gas nor liquid nor solid. It is homogenous and not discrete.
In 1887, Michelson & Morley performed a famous experiment to detect ether. But they failed to detect it due to many reasons. Many scientists including Lorentz explained various causes of its failure, but they were ignored.
In developing the General Theory of Relativity (GTR), Albert Einstein made a blunder, by presuming that ether does not exist. His mistake was: the non-existence of the proof of existence of ether was considered as the proof of non-existence of ether. But now the scientists have realized their mistake and are quite sure that ether exists and they feel it is the right time to discard "General Theory of Relativity of Einstein (GTRE)" and accept "General Lorenz Ether Theory (GLET)" which explains many unexplained phenomenons where GRT has failed.
Now we know ether existed much before the calculated 13 billion years age of universe, which is the beginning of the physical matter in the universe. It is still unknown when did the ether started to manifest in the universe? So the age of the universe is much more than 13 billion years. The visible matter has come out of ether and from a big-bang inside the universe condensed into a singularity told by Stephen Hawking.
The Cosmologists have now found evidences through the space researches that the universe mainly consists of mysterious new things called 'dark matter' and "dark energies". The ordinary visible matter is only about 4% of the total matter in the universe. More than 95% of the universe is made of invisible stuff called dark matter and dark energies. The invisible Dark matter is only 23%. The remainder 73% is dark energies. Dark matter and energies are hypothetical form of matter that accounts for 90% of all the gravity in the universe. Although we have never seen dark matter, but infer its presence from its gravitational effects on ordinary matter.
Our conventional scientific wisdom that every thing is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons seems to be wrong. It's true that everything we can see and detect by our sense organs is made of these things. But careful study of the universe indicates that we can see only a tiny fraction of what actually exist in the universe. Scientists call this invisible undetectable stuff as dark matter and dark energy.
Till now the scientists do not know any thing more about dark matter & dark energies. But now the conventional wisdom that everything is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons seems to be wrong. It is true that everything we see and detect is made of these particles. But our careful observations of the universe indicate that we can see only a small fraction of what's actually there in the universe.
By studying the vast universe throughout, our scientists are learning more about the hidden clues, which may reveal the principles governing the universe. Scientists say that the universe is expanding more rapidly day by day and the galaxies are pulled apart due to these dark energies and also pushed together by gravitational energy. This proves that Stephen Hawking is wrong.
It is evident that the dark matter is nothing but the "ether" & the matter inside the black wholes and around galaxies present throughout the universe. And the dark energies are the hidden energies like the Life-energy, Cosmic energy and Kundalini energy etc. There is description of these energies in Vedas.
