Should We Tamper with Genetics

Law of nature, or law of science? Should humans try to defy mother nature? Why do people do what they do? Because of curiosity.

Researchers all over the world have been consistently trying to modify, create, or change genes in human, animals, and plants. The question is, should we do it? The truth is, human have already changed much of Mother Nature, from large amounts of settlements that driven lots of species into extinction, to large body of green house gas emission that completely destroyed eco balance in some areas of the world.

Now we are trying to change something that made us who we are, trying to find the key to immortality. Should we do it? In my opinion, yes, we should. Science and technology have brought comfort and harmony into people's lives. From heating systems to the globe internet, they are all designed to make people's lives better and better one step at a time. Science is a subject without limit, the more we understand it, the more we can use it for ourselves, but also use it against ourselves.

Curiosity is what separated humans from animals, all started when the first homosapiens started to wonder how to make fire. Use that example, why not wonder how to live forever and make it a reality? As I mentioned above, science is a two sided sword, but that does not mean we should not use it? Definitely not, and for those who thinks science is evil, I suggest you shut off you computer right now and go to the amazons by yourself and see how long can you last.

If you have any comments, please post, I would love different input from other people.

we probably shouldn't go too far into genetics, god's creation is what's there, we shoudn't go try and change it...
