Definition of energy
Force, Vigour, activity (act, speak, with energy; what energy you have!; devote your energies to this); ability of matter or radiation to do work; energetic (ically) full of energy, powerful operative; energise infuse energy into, provide energy into, provide energy for operation of (device).
Matter:
Physical substance in general, as opp. To spirit, mind; (physiol) substance in or from the body purulent discharge material for thought or expression.
Radiation:
Radiating, emission of energy as electromagnetic waves, energy thus transmitted esp. invisibly.
Electromagnetic energy:
Caused by electricity, having both electrical and magnetic character ~ magnetic radiation kind of radiation including visible light, radio waves etc in which electric and magnetic fields vary simultaneously.
Cells
The human body is composed of millions of cells which are different sizes, shapes and have different structures and functions. Each cell is made up of many parts which are called organelles (small organs). It is in these parts that chemical reactions take place contributing to the living processes in the cell.
Despite their differences, all body cells have some common characteristics.
Mitosis
This is the process of cell division or reproduction, which after a series of changes within the cell, produces two new identical cells. Groups of similar cells form body tissues, which have specific functions.
Nerve tissue
This is sensitive to stimulation and carries messages to and from the brain.
The nervous system of the body controls many of its activities, responding rapidly to various stimuli. Working in conjunction with the nervous system is the endocrine system.
The endocrine system has a gland known as the hypothalamus gland which is an area of the brain near the pituitary gland and is the link between the nervous system and endocrine glands. It has special nerve cells which make releasing factors which act on cells of the anterior pituitary before they can send out their hormones.
Conclusion
The above identifies that the information which is released from the cells structure can create negative emotions and or reactions in the physical as the brain and endocrine system does the processing.
It is believed that the cells within the body’s structure have the ability to retain information and experiences not just from this life time.
Understanding energy at different levels?
- Physically
- Mentally
- Emotionally
- Spiritually
Physically
The body is built of cells which contain atoms and molecules which are units of electromagnetic energy. The body has over 1 billion cells all active at one time.
The cells within the body have the ability to retain information i.e. experiences. We can use this energy to perform physical tasks in everyday life.
Mentally
The energy which our brain uses is similar to radio waves which are not visible to the human eye, signals are sent out from the transmitter and received by your radio as music this analogy in terms of the human aspect equates to a thought being released from the brain (i.e. the transmitter) and being received by the body (I.e. the radio) as the experience (i.e. the music).
The information being received back by the physical can be of a negative or positive experience. Depending on the original thought process given out.
Emotionally
The energy is in the formation of chemical substances within the body which can be identified as negative or positive feelings.
Energy is said to be living in all structures and exists everywhere. But like the wind cannot be seen until it touches something of a denser structure i.e. trees of which then move.
Spiritually
Spiritual energy can be used for mediumship healing (which involves direct contact with spirit world). Can be used for meditation by making a connection to the energy to reach an altered state of consciousness.
Techniques for building the energies
- Visualisations
- Meditation
- Self development
Visualisations
Visualisations are the thought processes using symbols or images to create a vision to ones mind (not visible to the eye).
Grounding and Protection
Is there a difference between grounding and protection?
- Yes
- Grounding / Earthing is the ability to be earthed when working
- There are various methods of grounding / earthing many involve the use of visualisation.
- Grounding / Earthing means just what is says ~ using the feet by the means in which energies travel to keep you firmly on tera firma when working.
- Protection is the ability to be protected when working
- Again there are various methods used for protection. Again many use visualisation techniques
- The idea is to protect your spiritual self, just as you would protect your physical self with clothing.
Benefits
- Increased energy levels
- More focused for longer periods of time
- Assist in keeping a positive outlook
- Less likely to attract external negative influences
- Allows you to be more stable when working
Visualisation for grounding
Ensure that:
- Turn the phone off
- Your room is quiet and warm
- You have a comfortable chair to sit in
