The Three Triangles

The Equilateral triangle, The Isosceles triangle, and The Scalene triangle.

Equilateral

The Equilateral triangle is the one with three sides that are all the same. There are different ways to find if the triangle is an equilateral or not

One way is by measuring the sides, if they are all the same then it is an equilateral.

Another way is to look at the sides, if all the sides have one line going through them in the middle it means they are all the same.

You can also look at the angles in the triangle. If the angles are all the same then It also is an equilateral triangle.

Isosceles

The Isosceles triangle has two sides which are the same, and one side that is different. Two ways of finding if it is an isosceles triangle are, one to measure, if two are the same and one is different then it is one.

The second way is to look at the angles, if two angles are the same it also means it is an isosceles triangle.

Scalene

The Scalene triangle has all different sides. To find if it is a scalene triangle you can measure the lines, and if there all different then it is one. You can also see if it is scalene by looking at the angles. If they are all different then it is scalene.
