Joe Washington's Dilemma

There's a problem and Joe Washington needs it fixed.

Joe Washington, a local farmer has been having trouble figuring out witch crops will provide him with the most profit. He has decided to ask me how he is going to divide the crop amount to get the most profit possible.

He has two choices for crops, crop A, and crop B. He has twenty acres of land to fill. Crop A costs $120 per acre for seeds, and crop B seeds cost $200 per acre.

Crop A is the cheapest, but he can only have up to fifteen acres of crop A, but on crop B, there is no limit. Crop A takes fifteen hours of labor at $5.60 per hour, and crop B will require 10 hours of labor per acre at $5.00 and hour.

The expected income of crop A is about $600 per acre and crop B is 520 per acre, Joe Washington would like to know how the twenty acres should be divided among the two crops.

Crop A will maximize at 15 acres, at $204 per acre and $600 profit per acre, the total profit of crop.
