Most students go into college with very little idea of how they will get through English class. They do not know how to properly format an essay and they do not understand how to navigate the structure of the essay in order to accomplish what they want. They is the one factor that manages to discourage new students from attending college and is frequently blames for the reason why many students do not finish their college goals which they set out to accomplish. They feel lost when they are assigned a piece of work and so they decided that it is better to end their courses on their own terms then so stick with them and face the possibility of failing the course. However, this is something that could easily be avoided if our educational system has better teachers in high school to prevent this problem before it is experienced on the college leave. The problem is that teachers of quality are few and far between in most cities public schools within the United States and so the problem is not avoided but passed onto a later time and left for another teacher to face. That teacher never goes out of their way to help so the child is passed along from grade to grade without ever learning how to write a good essay. However, if you know a few simple tricks you will find it a lot easier than you though.
You should pick a topic of interest and if you are assigned a topic then you will want to build an understanding of the subject so that it is of some interest to you. This will make it easier for you to write and it will save you time on writer's block which will make the process a lot easier.
Include transitional sentences that tie together each paragraph which will make your paper flow smoother. Each paragraph should fit nicely into the overall structure of the paper so that it fits in nicely as an entire paper and your thought process flows on the paper. This will provide you with a higher quality paper overall which looks and sounds more thought out.
Plan the structure of your paper before you start writing, this way when you sit down you already have an idea of what should be included in the paper and how you will go about putting your thoughts onto paper. Jotting down things about your topic will help to organize your thoughts and produce a better paper later.
Writing can be a hard thing without proper teaching, especially with the state of our educational system today. It is never easy to put everything about one subject on a paper but if you keep your paper focused and you keep your interest on the topic elevated then you will have no problem producing a great paper.
