First of all I am not an expert on anything. I am just a woman that has been through a lot of things in my 34 short years on this earth. Like most girls that grew up in the 80s, I too was one of those types that thought fighting and anger was just a part of my everyday life. I was always looking for something to get “into”. I was such a stubborn kid and wasted a lot of time and energy being so negative.
Now that I am a mother I have noticed that was just part of being a kid and I have tried to deter my kids from following down that path of negative attitudes and fighting. I was about 25 when I realized that life is what I make it to be not what others want it to be. My life is mine and if I want it to be a certain way then it is my responsibility to make it the way I want it. That's when I learned about the power of positive thinking and the law of attraction.
It took me a while to relearn how to be positive about things, especially in hard times. I have come to terms with a lot of my issues in life and I have let go of my death grip, so to speak, on the bad things that have occurred to me, that I had no control over. I have learned that the law of attraction is real and what you wish for comes back to you good or bad. The universe sees what we ask for as neither negative nor positive it just sees what we ask for and sends it back to us. That's where I had a problem. I wasn't being specific enough on what I was asking for.
When you begin to be positive about life things start to change and fall into place just as they should. I have come to understand how the universe sends back your positive energy. The law of attraction also works to your benefit as well. If you keep a bad attitude with the world then you're going to continue to get more bad attitudes sent to you. Like I always tell my kids, never let anyone steal your joy and happiness. No matter what someone does to you, you are the one that takes the action to let it bother you or let it roll off your back. You can either give someone the finger because they made you mad or you can give them a smile and let them go on about their business and wondering why you are so happy.
I have bad days just like everyone else but I have to refocus my energy on the positive so that it doesn't mess up my whole day. I have been through some tough times. I have managed to come through them with a big fat smile on my face thanking the almighty creator and the universe for sending me back the positive results I had asked for at an earlier time. I will admit it is hard sometimes to be alert to your own actions and reactions. You just have to stay true to the belief that things will get better. The more you tell yourself that the more it starts to become so.
I wasn't always a pleasant person and that reflected in my every waking moment. I just learned that life is too short and too precious to go through it with a grudge on the world or whoever made it tough. Eventually you have to let go of all that. I promise you once you do you're body will feel a lot better too because you won't be so tense. Then your mind will start to feel better. Then your life will start to reap the rewards of a positive mental attitude. Just give it a try and you'll see the power of positive thinking is life changing.
