The D.a.r.e. Program

This depicts the D.A.R.E. Program and explains its efforts and positive points to keep children and teens off drugs and alcohol.

There are numerous crime prevention strategies and public policies that continue to struggle in their deliberation of efforts to decrease the crime element. As a mother the one program that I believe is the most structure and well developed among teens and young children is the D.A.R.E. program. This program entitles parent support as well as police efforts in local settings to teach children the importance of recognizing good and bad choices within peer pressure and society itself. Education entails the deliberation of proactive tools to establish the boundary lines and role models that children need to be successful in their lives.

The D.A.R.E. program continues to be successful in crime prevention and education among younger children and teens. Self esteem issues as well as prevention of drugs and alcohol and its effects are addressed and shared within the educational system as well as the parents who participate within the program. The program is designed to educate the children as well as the parents and to maintain a link within the community regarding healthy standards to practice to be successful. Children and teens are awarded for their participation in the program.
