What is the reason for a home phone? Will the answering machine extinct?. The home phone no longer needs existence, call the cell you can reach me there. Answering machines no longer need to be either because if I don't catch you the first call "You will get signal." I bet we would know the tune of "our" cell phone anywhere, I mean it is ours right?.
How we use them
We use the cell to communicate with each other, just like we would do phone or mail. I think the main reason we use our cell is because it is the latest fad. Cell phones give us our personality by the color, ring tone, wallpapers we choose. It's features can include at least the following:

What the future we hold
I do not know what the future will hold for the newer generations. Our world and our lives are all based around growing technology. We on the most part don't need much else than our cell. Maybe someday they will find a way to surgically connect our phones to our bodies, maybe they will call them our skin "cells."
