I had it all,the class president,most likley to suceed.everyone new me for my honesty and my pride.The state champion is what many new me as.I lived in a small town called Eclectic alabama. A very country town,well mabey not that country,but it took the tole when you heard that southern slang.It was my senior year i had all the friends my life was moving at a fast pace ,and i new i was going places with all my friends by my side.
I was nicknamed the hero when i was 15 years old when i won my first state championship that also pulled my team ahead in the wrestling state points bracket.Everyone was awarded rings i felt like i was making everything happen for everyone.The first party of the year and i was the big senior now.everything was going great, until a few of my friends showed up .I turned something down that would change my life forever.Turning that down was what i thought the worst descion i had ever made.
I no longer got he phones calls everyday from my friends wanting to go to the park,go run,go jog.My friends that i had loved and chairshed my entire life had suddenly traded me for drugs,alcohol,pills.the pain and depression that i was going threw made me want to give up.I couldnt see what had happened it was as if i as blinded.My heart was telling me ,my heart told me nothing it was empty there was n more pressure,it was broken. Some people would think that nomore pressure would be good,but in life those who succeed are the ones who had the pressure i use to be the drug the one they never got enough of .the one that they would die for..........one night a few of my friends called me and told me they missed me,they wanted to meet at the epl,that was what we called our hang out the Eclectic parking lot.I thought that would be the night that i would be me again to them i had decided that i would join them. on my way there i saw the most beautiful person i had ever seen her name was mthat i had been worried about hday future who i said hello to while i was pumping my gas kind of corny but i had to say something everything that i had worried about had left me,and had filled me with butterflies.that night there was a car reck 3 of my friends that i had grew up with had died in a car reck.The final shattered piece of my heart had fallen.my friends ended up giving that one true friendship that everyone gets with one person in their life with that one person to drugs that was so strong they would die for it.rest in peace.
Today I stand the man i always was in your life people are going to change when they do it will be the way god wanted them to.im not saying god wanted them to die they chose not to live that roll.i felt god put me here to change there life,but i was late.If you are out there reading this im still here visitin me at www.myspace.com/msides i will be there to be a friend.im not a perfect christian i believe in his word thats all you have to do. i am here to tell you all this so mabey it will change your life.Be like me like god like the ones who care about you.Just say no you may lose friends,But a day with the person that you would die for is a day worth more than any.
